Christmas Vacation 2008

Steve's family, Dad, Sarah, and I left December 26 to go to Greg's house. We spent the first night at Aunt Cathy's. Then we went on to Greg's. We spent the weekend and came home on Monday. We had a wonderful time. I made a slideshow of our trip.

Santa came to Lebo this weekend. He always arrives on a fire truck. Sarah had a nice time visiting with him. Sarah also had her first piano recital this weekend. I'm sure that Grandma Adamson would have been proud. She was the youngest piano student in the group.

Alex and Marly's Wedding

Alex and Marly had a beautiful day for their wedding on October 4. Their reception was held in Leavenworth, and a good time was had by all. I tried my best to get pictures of all the Heims, but I'm afraid that I might have left out some of the younger ones. They really didn't want to stand still for very long. This is the last of our three weddings in four weekends. Now I will look forward to all of you emailing me some of your own pictures for me to post. All of you with young children, please email me some pictures of your kids in their Halloween costumes so that everyone can see them. Congratulations to all of the newlyweds!

Cassie Ernzen got married to Kevin Miller on September 20. It was a beautiful wedding in Easton, KS and a wonderful reception in Weston, MO. I tried something new with the pictures I took at the wedding. All you have to do is click the purple "play" button. Please let me know if it doesn't work for you. Megan's Wedding

Megan Cook got married this past weekend. Laura sent some photos to share with everyone. She said, "The wedding was fantastic! I think it was everything Megan and Jarrod hoped for. We appreciate the fact that so many friends and family were able to be there with us. It was a beautiful ceremony and a memorable party!!"

Canada Vacation

Curt, Sarah, and I went on vacation to Canada at the end of July with Curt's parents and nephew. Sarah really enjoyed fishing this time (this was her sixth trip to the same camp). She is holding all of the walleye she caught that day. We stay in a cabin for 7 days with no TV or phone. It is quite relaxing. We also eat fish for 7 nights.

Tom Gaither just added a comment on the blog. It was his first blog, so it is pretty exciting. If you want to blog, just click on "comments" and write what you want to say. In his blog, Tom said that the tentative date for the 2010 Adamson Family Reunion would be July 8-12, 2010. Please mark your calendars.

Family Reunion

The 2008 Adamson Family Reunion was a great success. Thanks so much to the Heims and Ernzens for their generosity. A great time was had by all.

I thought it would be fun to start a blog for the family. It will be a place for you to post news, tell of achievements, keep us updated on your family, etc. I hope you will join in the fun.
